best work xmas party ever
free booze, and when i mean booze, i mean anything, bourbon, beer, wine, vodka, rum.. whatever the freak you wanted
free 3 course dinner, kick ass food too, although i was too full of booze to eat my desert
they also hired out 2 pool tables, 2 air hockey tables, 4 pinball machines, about 10 of them old school arcade things (frogga, space invaders etc) and a kareoke machine
had trivia, our table won.. we all got a years free pass to Dendy cinema
suprisingly i aint hungover, weird considering i mixed pretty much every type of alcohol avaliable.. and the Sambucca bombs due to the absence of Jagermeister were kinda wrong |

I like the real dark grey one in the middle of the second pic, or the real dark blue one middle bottom row of the first pic.. also like the one on the end of the middle row in the first pic... its like a light blue that changes from blue to purpley in the light.. but not as gay as that sounds (same colour as the car in the very first pic) |

ahh on my lunch break, fuck all to do.
i got my very own project today. designing some developments on a snow lodge at Smiggins. few extra levels and converting from a lodge to units.
good fun, might get to go for a drive up to the snow this week or next week sometime. dont really care about the snow, just the 300km ill drive and the 74cents ill get per km, so an extra $220 for driving somewhere that will cost me $50max petrol, as well as getting paid for driving around the countryside and not sitting at my desk thinking.
going back to bega AGAIN this weekend. then the next weekend at home, then sydney to take caiden to toronga zoo and watch the Sharkies win the NRL grandfinal.

So i've finally got me a Structural Engineering job..
In Canberra (woden to be specific). Graduate position. Kick ass company with the average age being 27. Sometimes travel with work between Bris, central coast, sydney, newcastle, and maybe adelaide if they get their office going.
Start in about 3 months, still waiting to decide when i wanna go. Salary = $57,000
Job insurance as well, so if i get hurt, they keep paying me. Woooo
Also i get to buy a car, well Northrop does, and i pay them back but without the tax they can claim back. Pay them back over 5 years, comes out of my salary, and no interest. Killer. I can pretty much do that with anything; computers, phones e.t.c.
Now i just gotta find a house and move my shit. |

played my first game of footy in 6 years today..
it was fucking fun... i hade a pretty good game and we ended up winning 34-10. I need to get a lot fitter though... i remember being so fucked at one stage i was hoping they would score so i could have a rest... i snapped a few people too which was fun
gta IV is very fucking cool. there are a few annoying things in there, but its definately cool and i can see it getting much cooler.

Got myself an interview with Andrew Marshman & Associates on friday
Fucking stoked as, Andrew seemed heaps keen to get to interview me on the phone, and said if i were to get the job then i would be put into a more structural engineering position then draftsperson. Hella good, maybe more CASH..
Gotta read up on some of my uni notes and shit though. The last 9 months as the cheese factory has dumbed my brain down |

Not much has been happening as of late...
Went to Canberra last weekend... got smashed as. Saw a bunch of cunts. Baz, Pratty, Toad, Tim, George, Phil... That was about the weekend
Nat and I's wedding has been moved to February 23rd. We couldn't be bothered waiting until August, plus her aunt couldn't make it, plus it was the only time we could move it to becuase our place for the reception is getting a revamp and is closed for ages...
We booked and half paid for our honeymoon the other day. Gunna spend a week in surfers paradise in this shmick 5 star hotel on the beach and 20 stories up. Gunna do Dreamworld, Seaworld (scam dolphin rides off my aunties bro-in law), Aussie Zoo, Sky Diving (FUCK YEAH!!), tattoo'ing, partying... gunna be killer
I applied for 2 jobs in merimbula that were in the paper the other day. Civil Engineer, and an Engineering Draftsperson. Both are $45K, but pay is negotiable on qualifications. About the same as what i make now, but i dont smell like cheese or have to wake up at 5am. Killer. Should have a good chance at the Draftsperson job. I have all the requirements, plus is have a degree in structural engineering, which is the firms main practice, so that could look pretty spiffy.
